Seattle, WA—The Moyer Foundation, Founded by MLB starting pitcher Jamie Moyer and his wife Karen, officially launched  “10 on 10,” today, the non-profit’s first entry into the quickly growing text-to-give market, allowing donors to make instant donations via their cell phones.  The campaign is designed to encourage fans and supporters to make a $10 contribution on the 10th of each month as a way of celebrating and supporting The Moyer Foundation’s 10th Anniversary "10 in 2010."

 “This is a great way for people to contribute. It’s quick and easy and the donation is made instantly.  We hope to raise funds, but also help raise awareness about the Foundation and our programs on a national scale by getting more people involved to help spread the word,” said Jamie Moyer.  

Proceeds from the text donations benefit programs created and supported by The Moyer Foundation – helping children in distress.
