"It is an honor to be in Seattle to accept this award from The Moyer Foundation – a great cause, with incredible leaders in Karen and Jamie Moyer. It is inspiring to see parallels in the work both of our organizations are doing nationwide, helping children in distress. The community support of an event like this is what makes our work possible, to be able to help more kids, and to truly make a difference in our communities."

OVERVIEW

The Annual Giving Luncheon is the largest annual Foundation event, bringing together nearly 1,000 individuals, partners, and community leaders who support the mission of helping children in distress. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the Foundation, its mission and future plans – and to hear directly from the Founders, Karen and Jamie Moyer.

During the event, The Moyer Foundation recognizes select volunteers, corporate partners and presents The Moyer Foundation Humanitarian Award, honoring a nationally-recognized public figure for their contributions and commitment to philanthropy and their work on behalf of children in distress.

In celebration of our 10th Anniversary - 10 in 2010, The Moyer Foundation is proud to present the 2010 Humanitarian award to THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST COMMUNITY - for their dedication and commitment to supporting The Moyer Foundation over the past ten years.
