#Listen2yourselfie: Marijuana Awareness for Teens

A great place for Parents and Teens, Listen2yourselfie is a teen-focused campaign to educate about the use of marijuana.

The site explores the heath effects of marijuana as well as some of the consequences of using with other substances. For example: "If you use marijuana regularly you’re more likely to have a hard time learning, paying attention, and remembering things. And, the more you use, the harder it is to be on point. These side effects can last even weeks after you’ve quit."

This resource does a great job of answering teens qestions about marijuana, its effects and clarifies the law for the State of Washington where it has been legalized for recreational use.  The site contains a The Listen2YourSelfie campaign is brought to you by the Marijuana Prevention and Education Program within the Division of Prevention and Community Health at the Washington State Department of Health.

The funding for this campaign comes directly from marijuana revenues as laid out in state Initiative 502 (I-502).
