Willow House is a non-profit organization dedicated to the needs of grieving children and their families. Willow House is recognized as a leader in the field of children’s grief locally and nationally. Peer support group services are provided in four locations, Arlington Heights, Chicago, Libertyville and Bannockburn, including a group for children and families grieving a suicide death.

Willow House programs bring together children, teenagers, young adults and families who share the profound experience of the death of a loved one. Willow House peer support groups offer a safe and non-judgmental setting in which grief related feelings and concerns are shared, loved ones are remembered, and memories are cherished.

Children and adults can, and do, gain strength through connecting with others who are also grieving. Because of Willow House, families are able to move through their grief experiences…together.

For more than 20 years, Willow House has provided direct services to hundreds of families each year including the families of 9/11. Willow House services are provided at no cost to families.
