Everyone gets angry sometimes, but having a hot temper isn't cool. We can't take our anger out on other people when we are mad. it's important to remember to take control of our anger level.
One of the "big" emotions that we experience is anger. Sometimes acknowledging our anger and finding healthy ways to express it can be really hard. So, what are some things you can do when you are feeling angry?

The 7 C's are something we learn at Camp Mariposa and is a good reminder for us all. The 7 C's are important for us to remember, especially when we are experiencing harder and more difficult emotions and feelings. See if you can find the 7 C's in the word search. Remember they might be horizontal, vertical, diagonal, or backwards.

Sometimes our emotions can feel out of control, similar to a swirling tornado. Use the tornado shaker as a visual for these feelings and help children learn to practice calmness and patience as the tornado calms down.
